CLEARWATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
LAWN AND GARDEN SPRINKLING REGULATIONS
IN EFFECT FROM:
MAY 01, 2007 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2007
As long as reservoir levels remain high enough to provide sufficient fire protection, the following days and times will remain in effect:
Even numbered houses may water on even numbered days.
Odd numbered houses may water on odd numbered days.
Hours you may water:
6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Regulations will be enforced by water patrols.
No daytime watering between the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Irrigation with watering cans is not restricted.
Washing vehicles is not restricted at this time.
Children playing in sprinklers is not restricted, but please teach them to turn the water off when finished.
FIRST TIME offenders will be subject to a $50.00 fine.
SECOND TIME offenders will be subject to $100.00 fine.
THIRD TIME offenders will be subject to automatic water turn off.
Penalties not paid within 14 days are subject to water turn off. Water will be re-instated after the fine, turn off fee of $50.00 and any outstanding quarterly water utility charges have been paid.
If you have access to a private well, as well as CID community water supply, please notify the District so water source can be verified by District staff and noted on your account. Water restrictions do not apply to properties with their own well.
